Robot Cars of 2057 - Nissan's OneOne !
Going on the theory that robots will become a "helpful member of the family," the OneOne will not only drive you to the grocery store, but will also do the grocery shopping.
It's guided by GPS and moves with a skating motion similar to rollerblading. It can lie down for more speed or stand up for easier parking and storage.

"The entire structure of the vehicle is comprised of a 100 percent re-prototypable, carbon nano-tube/shape memory alloy weave with a photovoltaic coating. Nissan Super-Car !
Nissan released its super car at 40th Tokyo Motor show 2007. The supercar has a 3.8-liter twin turbo V-6 engine capable of up to 480 horsepower. It can go from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a maximum speed of about 193 mph.

FuelVapor Technologies has produced a car called 'ale' that can run on vapors rather than on liquid fuel. But it isn't only designed for fuel effeciency but also for performance and according to the company this can pick up speed from 0 to 60 mph in just 5 seconds !
